About Me..
Hi, I'm Shealy! I think one of the reasons I've had success with instagram has been because of my unique background.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from University of Alabama at Birmingham. While studying psychology, I also minored in art, art history, and took a number of psychology and marketing courses as part of my education. This specific education has helped me tremendously with the understanding of what appeals to people and inspires them to follow. I also spent several years as a bartender and I like to joke that is just as effective at understanding people as my degree was.

If you're going to trust me with your account, then I should be open and honest about mine to start.
I started LittleMountainAframe in 2020 with the intent to document our build for friends and family. I never dreamed that I would end up, years later, with 50,000 followers. In the time between, Instagram has changed drastically.. and continues to change. But I learned how to grow with those changes.
Since then I've had countless viral posts. I had one reel that has over 25 million views - and resulted in selling out our summer calendar. I've had several others reach over a million views, a few that are just short of that, and a lot that have been seen hundreds of thousands of times. I've been featured by accounts like The Cabin Chronicles, Cabinfeed, A Frame Dreams, The Cabinland, Tinyhouse, Cabinvision, and more.
On average, I gain anywhere from 100 to 500 followers a day and my reels hit between 6k views and 100k views. My photo sets (called 'carousels' by instagram) usually get at least 40,000 impressions.
