Old fort

Like many areas of Western North Carolina, our small town of Old Fort was terribly impacted by Hurricane Helene. I've rounded up links for ways you can help with the town's recovery.

Many of the small businesses in town were impacted. Donating here will help them rebuild.

Whaley Farm Brewery is a charming brewery in the heart of town. They were horribly impacted by flooding and mud. Donating here helps them rebuild and get back to brewing delicious beers.

3

Our friends at Euda know how to make some outstanding NC wines. Unfortunately their winery was also impacted by flooding and mud. You can support them here by joining their wine club, purchasing wines, or buying a gift card.

4

Arrowhead Art Gallery was the home of many local artists. Donating here will help them repair and reopen to continue supporting artists and education for the town.

5

Participate virtually or in person in the Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival! The OFSEF is a trail and biking marathon that will raise funds for hurricane affected people and businesses in Old Fort.

6

Purchase hats, shirts, and stickers to help support Old Fort's cutest boutique.

7

Since the hurricane hit, Amy has been serving free hot meals to anyone and everyone who needs it. Donating here will help her continue to do so.

8

The trails in Old Fort are vital to the towns economy and many were damaged by the hurricane. Donate here to help bring this important part of WNC life and recreation back.

9

Help rebuild the Old Fort Bike Shop after it sustained flooding during the hurricane.

10

Just down the road from the a-frame - this is a local pottery studio that was badly damaged by a tree during the hurricane. Please help this incredibly talented potter rebuild her shop.
