FAQ
Here you'll find the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions that we get. If you don't see the answer here, feel free to reach out to us!
I'm a content creator and I'm interested in collaborating with you!
- Our airbnb calendar stays at about 95% occupancy, which means we almost never have any open days. It is very expensive for us to give up dates for a collaboration stay. Because of both of those things, we do not book content collaborations from the busy months of May-December. If you are interested in being considered for future collaborations, please send the following information:
- Previous airbnb/STR collaboration experiences, references, and/or metrics for those posts
- A portfolio or media kit of your work
- Your instagram information
- We get a lot of collaboration requests. On average, I receive about 20-30 cold pitches in my DM's and through our website per week. Please understand that providing the above information will greatly help me and also improve your chances for consideration.

I'm interested in booking a stay, when does your calendar open?
Our calendar opens three months at a time. This is the yearly schedule:
January 1st: April-June
April 1st: July-September
July 1st: October-December
October 1st: January-March
I highly recommend signing up for our newsletter to get a notification for when dates open up! Our weekends tend to fill up very quickly.

Are you commercial builders/is this something I can tour/will you build this for me?
- We are not commercial builders. This is a private home that we rent out on Airbnb. We do not run a business building a-frames or have any options for that. We do not allow tours.

Are your floor plans available for purchase? If so, where?
- We custom designed our floor plans ourselves. They are not currently available for purchase.

What's the square footage of your a-frame?
- Roughly 1300sqft.

Did you build it yourself?
- No, we hired a local builder out of Asheville, NC. His name is Patrick Conner and he is the owner/GC of Painted Buckeye Builders. And yes, we highly recommend him!

When was your cabin built?
- We bought land in 2020, broke ground on the build in 2022, and completed the a-frame in late summer of 2023. All told it was 18 months of construction.

How much did it cost to build?
- Building prices these days change rapidly. If you want to know how much it will cost you to build something similar, talk to a builder local to your area who can give you an average of cost per square foot. All of our price quotes are now more than three years old and very out of date, so that information will be much more current. The cost information is also extremely personal and private and we have chosen not to publish it.
